Sewri Fort is a historic fort on Mumbai’s eastern waterfront, with an important place in the fortified history of the city. Over time, limited maintenance, accessibility and public engagement have affected the fort and its surrounding precinct. THP is working with government and institutional partners to revive the site while preserving its historic character and making it more accessible to the public. 

The project is centred around creating a museum and interpretation centre that brings the history of Sewri Fort and its surrounding precinct to life. Plans also include improvements to the foreground landscape, restoration, signage and better access to the site.
